Support Workers |Supported Living & Outreach Services - Adult's |Autism Salary: £14,010 - £15,800 per annum Location: BANES Are you are dedicated Support Worker looking for a new challenge or somebody wanting to start a career in the care sector? Are you able to provide person centred care? If so, an opportunity has arisen that we think you will be interested in. Our client wants you to join their team in Bath & North East Somerset to offer support and pioneering services to people within a supported living setting or community outreach. The salary is £14,010 - £15,800 per annum for full time hours (37 per week). There is some flexibility on hours with the service also accepting part time applications. Our client provides quality care for adults via supported living, community support & outreach services covering the above named areas. Within the supported living home, the new referral will require 24 hours support. The shifts vary and would be discussed further with successful candidates. The service users are aged 18+ and may have a range of needs including: - Autistic Spectrum Disorders - Challenging Behaviours - Personal Care - Communication difficulties (Makaton & PECs used) As a Support Worker you will be expected to promote well being and personal development; and to assist with day to day needs. The client's vision is to have a world where all people living with autism get to lead the life they choose. Their mission is to transform understanding of autism, and make sure everyone living with autism gets the support they need.
