EXCITING CARER OPPORTUNITY - GUARANTEED 8 HOUR DAY SHIFTS, 5 DAYS PER WEEK IN CHELMSFORD £7.44 per hour plus Mileage is paid at 45p per mile We are urgently seeking carer drivers to support a charity working within the NHS in Chelmsford. The role involves supporting the discharge of elderly patients from hospital to their home or care home in the local area. You will be required to support the elderly person throughout their discharge process taking guidance from medical staff, collecting prescriptions and escorting patients to your vehicle. You will be required to complete some basic paperwork and therefore need a good level of written and spoken English You will need; A current DBS which has been updated in the last 12 months Care Training which has been completed in the last 6 months Full UK Driving License, Tax & Insurance Compassionate nature with friendly and helpful disposition Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to understand what the role entails Ability to take direction and follow instructions accurately Flexible availability Reliable and hard working Immediate shifts are available 8 hours per day, 7 days a week.
