Chef Hospitality & Catering Dolgellau £10.00 per hour Temp-to-Perm Aspire Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced and energetic Chef. The position is required for a popular local pub; this position will be on a temp-to-perm basis with the opportunity to extend permanently after 12 weeks. The pub has a strong reputation locally for providing good quality food and the menu provides for lunch time snacks through to traditional evening meals together with a varied specials board. The successful candidate will have experience within the public house/restaurant/hotel environment and be equipped to deal with all aspects of working within a busy kitchen including managing all aspects of the kitchen, overseeing food preparation, preparing meals from fresh, creating menu choices and new specials, supporting with team training and rota’s, stock management and order, maintaining health, safety and food hygiene records. Applicants should have a flexible and hands-on approach and have good team working skills and you will be available for an immediate start! Relevant professional catering industry qualifications are essential, i.e. NVQ Level 2 in Food Hygiene and Safety in Catering, Food Preparation and Cookery, and City and Guilds qualifications in Catering.
