The Company A good client of ours is now looking to take an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on board after successfully tendering for a prestigious project. The project involves the new build of a £7.5m care home that is being constructed under a JCT contract. The 69 week project is set to add to the company's impressive portfolio and is only one of many schemes on their order books. The firm as a whole focus primarily on residential schemes and undertake works in market sectors such as: Mixed-use developments, residential buildings, social housing, high-spec housing & extra-care developments. Turnover for the next 2 years has already been secured with an abundance of midlands work being added to their books. As the company grows, opportunities for progression continue to open up, making climbing the career ladder inevitable after proving yourself in the firm. The role The role entails working under and being mentored by a very experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who is commercially responsible for the project. In order to be considered for this role you will preferably be Degree Qualified with up to a years' experience. Below is a list of duties you will be required to do: obtaining quotations procuring Sub-contract packages re-measurement of Sub-contractor accounts processing of invoices Generally assisting with the day-to-day duties of the Senior Quantity Surveyor The client is prepared to offer a competitive salary as well as the chance for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor to progress through the ranks of their commercial team.
