Job Description:

An exciting opportunity for an Management Information Analyst has arisen with my client. The main purpose of the role is to lead the collection, analysis and reporting of student and graduate statistics for Student Careers & Skills. To analyse and report findings from this and other research to inform the clients employability agenda and to aid strategic decision-making. You must have excellent data analysis and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. Duties and responsibilities *To support the collection and submission of survey responses, ensuring the highest possible data quality and response rates. This includes extracting and manipulating large datasets, including data from a large record system, and resolving queries. *Analysing and reporting on data to inform strategic decision-making, including administrative and academic departments, and to inform the media, potential students and graduate recruiters of Warwick's standing in the graduate labour market. This includes ad hoc analysis as well as preparing and publishing standard DLHE information to all stakeholders. *To benchmark performance in terms of graduate destinations, including bench marking against other Higher Education institutions and researching national and international surveys and statistics including DLHE, longitudinal survey results and graduate labour market information. *To collaborate with the Strategic Planning & Analytics Office, IT Services, other departments and external suppliers in relation to collection and reporting of DLHE data. *Extracting, analysing and reporting on data on engagement with Student Careers & Skills services to inform strategic decision-making about our services. This includes data from our student booking system, online platforms (eg websites) and survey and other data. *To advise on the development of KPIs across Student Careers & Skills and to lead on the development of sustainable management information reports, including methods of collecting data and presentation techniques - eg web dashboards. Key Skills *Degree-level qualification (any subject) and good GCSE Maths (or equivalent). *Professional background in collecting, analysing and reporting on complex data sets to a wide audience, and experience in managing personal data and politically-sensitive information. *Ability to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and produce high quality work. *Excellent numeracy and analytical skills. *Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey complex data to colleagues in a clear manner. *Excellent organisational and project management skills and an ability to meet challenging timescales. *High level of ability in using databases and spread sheets for manipulating large datasets and in-depth working knowledge of relevant research methods/statistical techniques and packages. Web development skills in developing business intelligence dashboards would be an advantage. *An understanding of how management information can be used to support strategic planning. *Knowledge of and using SITS would be an advantage. You must be available to start this role immediately. This is a part time role working 21 hours a week, Monday to Friday, working pattern to be agreed.
