Business Development Executive Newcastle Upon Tyne Start- ASAP £18000-£20000+OTE The company My client are the leading provider within marketing platforms for business all over the UK. The deliver cross channel campaigns incorporating the key channels of email, mobile, social and wed. As Sales Development Executive, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities to fuel the companies' specialist sector pipelines. You will own, develop and qualify leads with enterprise level clients in the four key sectors of retail, travel, NFP and publishing. You'll be sharing your expertise in sales development across the wider team and supporting our culture of continuous improvement. The role: Generate new business opportunities to fuel the companies pipelines across all four key sectors (NFP, Publishing, Travel and Retail). Outbound prospecting of target companies via email marketing, cold calling and attending events. Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in target accounts uncover prospect businesses challenges and qualify opportunities. Exceed monthly targets of qualified opportunities. Work closely with Sales Management, individual Business Development Managers and marketing to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities. Research and build new and existing prospect accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails, appointment setting). Manage, track, and report on all sales activities in internal CRM. Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the companies products, industry trends and competition. Manage and refine the sales development process to ensure continuous process improvements.
