Technical Manager Outskirts of Sleaford / Newark / Lincoln, Full Time, Permanent Attractive Salary and Benefits - call for more info Our well established and market leading manufacturing based company are looking to appoint an experienced Technical Manager on a full time and permanent basis. Role and Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: - Experience of monitoring and reporting non-conformance with customer and company standards - Preparing and organising department for internal/external visitors - Promoting department and building successful working relationships - Cross-functional working - effective support service to Production teams - Experience of developing/maintaining relevant QC documentation and databases, taking pro-active approach to establishing consistent processes, guidelines and systems - Working within environmental laws and standards ensuring they are adhered to - Conducting periodic audits in line with planned assessments. Completing analysis and audits to maintain due diligence and support continuous improvement, working closely with Operational teams to implement changes where necessary. Conducting & managing the audit programme including NCR and corrective action process - Assisting in training of new Quality Auditors - Monitoring and reviewing Quality Management and HACCP systems to ensure compliance with BRC requirements and company/customer standards. Maintaining ISO9001, BRC and HACCP systems - Customer and Supplier liaison - Proven track record in Continuous Improvement - Identifying & driving product and process improvement opportunities with the Production Team - Collating specifications for raw materials and finished products - Experience leading a project Quality team, including quality and systems management experience within the manufacturing industry - Experience of organising QA teams to ensure checks and tests are conducted on time - Experience and drive to champion and implement a Quality Culture across organisation - Experience of working in fast-paced demanding FMCG manufacturing environment Candidate: - Experience within a FMCG environment - Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment - Ability to produce concise and accurate documentation - HND or Degree in Food or Business related discipline (e.g. BSc Hons Food Quality and Business Management) - Advanced HACCP Level 4 - A lead assessor qualification would be desirable - Excellent man management skills Thank you for your interest in this vacancy and good luck with your application.
