Role: Buyer Location: London Contract: Permanent Our client is a market leading, global manufacturer of Point of Purchase marketing equipment. With offices in a number of countries around the world, they are looking for an additional Buyer to aid with their workload. Our client is a leading name in their field and supply a number of blue chip companies across the Globe. Suitable candidates will have at least 4 years experience working as a Buyer for a manufacturing company, preferably retail equipment. Due to their supply chain, it would be highly beneficial if candidates have experience procuring materials from China/Far East. Also CIPS qualified is preferred. Role Overview: • The role will embrace all std MRP driven procurement activity and their buyers are responsible for stock from cradle to grave. – purchase order and cost agreement through to stock delivery on shelf. • Expected delivery OTR is 98%. • Spend will be circa £3-5M on a wide customer focussed portfolio of parts, material content ranges from screen print fabric and LED’s to Tubular and sheet steel, Joinery and Acrylic
