We are actively seeking a motivated Cell Technician to join our leading manufacturing business to assist with supervising a production area. We design and manufacture a variety of technical specialist products supporting companies across the globe. The Cell Technician will be responsible for the supervision of operators within the cell and ensuring all components are being manufactured to the specification required. Responsibilities of the Cell Technician The Cell Technician will be responsible for the safe mounting of mould tools in presses, to ensure that the quality of components being manufactured on the machines is to the specification required. The Cell Technician will be responsible for the supervision of the operators working within their cell. To work strictly according to Standard Operating Procedures The Cell technician will assist in maintaining each work area in an orderly fashion As appropriate to work in clean rooms conditions The Cell Technician should adhere to Lean Manufacturing Techniques. Desirable Experience of the Cell Technician The Cell Technician should have a minimum of GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics. NVQ or equivalent in Injection Moulding. The Cell technician should have previous experience with manual handling. Previous Experience with Injection Moulding Machines would be advantageous. The Cell Technician must be a personable individual who can communicate at all levels. The Cell Technician must be a self-motivated individual who can communicate at all levels and fit into our friendly environment. Continental Nights Shift Pattern 42hours per week.
