Resourcing and Talent Manager – Sales-Focused Retailer - Job Summary Are you an experienced Resourcing & Talent Manager with a passion for driving the internal and external talent acquisition agenda? Then this opportunity to join this market leading retailer is one you do not want to miss out on! We have a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a market capitalisation of c. £1 Billion. Whilst retail is the obvious background, we would welcome applications from other sectors providing you have a passion for recruiting talent based on Values and Behaviours rather than Skill and who they currently work for. Resourcing and Talent Manager – Sales-Focused Retailer - Role Responsibility • Oversee & review the end to end recruitment process at all levels by managing, developing, supporting and guiding the team through regular communication and performance discussions • Ensure that the attraction and assessment tools used are fit for purpose and enable the recruitment team and hiring managers to identify high calibre individuals in line with recruitment criteria • Provide hiring managers & key stakeholders with best practice advice, information, options and tools to support their recruitment decisions and needs • Participate directly in Store Management recruitment by communicating with HRBPs and Regional Managers as well as supporting assessments where required • Ensure that agreed SLAs are delivered and communicated in line with defined KPIs and performance objectives according to regular reporting of Management Information • Ensure that our client works effectively and efficiently by using a blended approach of direct and indirect candidate sources including • Careers website, CV databases, job boards, agencies and social media • Manage the recruitment forecast and budget to ensure spend is maximised by balancing time to fill and cost per hire • Define & capitalise on employment brand informed via feedback mechanisms in order to address identified target market • Possesses a high energy, customer-focussed approach Is self-confident, credible and a strong communicator at all levels • Has the ability to act and think logically in a fast-paced working environment • Possesses excellent attention to detail Is a proactive self-starter with the ability to lead and inspire those around them • Team player with the rest of the HR team • Strong relationship skills Resourcing and Talent Manager – Sales-Focused Retailer - The Ideal Candidate • Proven experience of in-house and agency recruitment • Experienced at running a PSL • Good contacts/ knowledge of job boards, social media and attraction strategies and networking sites • Proven experience of driving improvements via new initiatives around attraction and selection • Stakeholder management • Line management Detail2Retail is acting as an employment agency.
