getsomeair started in Rotherham and now Sheffield is about to get it's very own exciting, sporting-adrenaline filled leisure facility too. With the anticipated opening scheduled for mid June 2016, we are looking for a General Manager ready to take on this spring loaded phenomenon. Responsible for managing the day to day running of the facility, ensuring all activity/events are delivered to a high standard with safety & customer satisfaction being the first priority. The role will involve a high level of customer interaction as well as the deployment and supervision of the operational team to ensure service standards and procedures are being met. With 15 team members your leadership and organisational skills will need to be second to none! Together with your team you`ll be responsible for delivering a memorable experience to every customer that walks through the doors, creating lasting memories for them. As General Manager, you`ll be responsible for the overall performance of the centre and the team. You`ll be a great role model and you`ll promote a fun working environment. You`ll also need to deliver on financial targets and ensure everything is running smoothly at all times. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, direct and motivate the operational team to ensure a quality service delivery - Maintain a high profile throughout the facility and respond positively to customer needs, expectations and comments - Full budgetary responsibility - Maximise occupancy through community engagement and local market initiatives - Conduct regular team meetings, monitoring and taking action to ensure business targets are met, including submitting accurate and timely reports Skills, Experience: - 2+ years experience managing a mid to large size business in a similar environment - Leisure, Health, Fitness, Hospitality or Retail - Full accountability for Sales and Profit - Inspirational leader - Strong administration skills - Confident user of Microsoft packages - Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation - Customer care skills - Problem solving with the ability to think and act quickly and calmly - Experience of managing complex priorities - Operational HR management So if you are looking for an opportunity to apply your skills and experience in a fresh new and exciting environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you
