Job Description:

Our client is an award winning and dynamic tour operator that offer various holiday types worldwide to the discerning traveller. Due to success and expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Aviation and Product Assistant to join their friendly and busy team. This tour operator offer holidays throughout Europe, USA, Caribbean, Far East, Indian Ocean, Africa, South America and the Pacific. This role is ideal for an existing Aviation and/or Product Assistant to progress their travel career and be rewarded for their hard work. This exciting Aviation and Product Assistant role entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes: • Ensure that reservations team are updated with new fares, special fares, changes to routings • Liaising with existing e sales customers, reservations and airlines, and providing assistance to the aviation, product and marketing teams. • Produce airline reports for preferred airlines • Assist Product Department by providing airline and longhaul content for offers for marketing • Monitor competitor activity • Monitor websites and e-shots for accuracy, content and relevance and test • Fare Management to include the checking of Cat 35 fares • Advise the reservations team of special fares and ensure that these are promoted throughout the reservation team • Liaising with e sales customers to keep them updated with relevant new fares, special fares, changes to routings via e-shot • Analysing fares, airline information and identifying and proactively promote good deals to marketing, management and reservations. • Create an internal newsletter for our clients travel products.
