Our client is an award winning and dynamic tour operator that offer various holiday types worldwide to the discerning traveller. Due to success and expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Regional Travel Sales Manager (Field Sales / Business Development) to join their friendly and busy team. This tour operator offer holidays throughout Europe, USA, Caribbean, Far East, Indian Ocean, Africa, South America and the Pacific. This role is ideal for an existing Regional Sales, Field Sales or Business Development Executive / Manager to progress their travel career and be rewarded for their hard work. This exciting Regional Travel Sales Manager entails a wide range of tasks in which no day will be the same, this includes: • Maintaining and increasing sales of various travel products to UK Travel Agents. • Develop and build on existing relationships to ensure continued support of the travel products. • Identify new business opportunities and feedback on these opportunities. • Training and presenting new products and the agent website thus ensuring agents have a full understanding of the products available. • Plan, carry out and support local marketing activities to agreed timescales e.g. product launches, promotions, advertising, and exhibitions. • Represent the Company and attend conferences, functions and networking events. • Assist the Marketing Team in carrying out marketing activities. Develop ideas and offers and work with the marketing department to promote the travel products to the trade. • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
