Cost Consultant / Cost Modeller / Senior Cost Analyst - Defence, MOD Our client is looking for a Cost Consultant / Cost Modeller, they are a rapidly growing SME and provides technical consultancy services to UK Government, and the Ministry of Defence (MOD) in particular. The Company is based in Bristol and Hampshire, Candidates must have some of the following: British Nationals with current SC clearance. Experience in Defence/MOD. Degree in Maths, Physics, Operational Research or Engineering based subjects or equiv. Defence Analysis. MOD Business Case development, Defence Analysis. Experience in practising Cost Data Analysis, Cost Estimation/Analysis, knowledge of gathering cost data, Modelling, CDALs, V&V, COEIA, Decision Support, Cost Modelling, Cost Model Development, Cost Effective Analysis, CAAS guidelines. Mathematical Modelling skills would be very useful. Solid experience in the above sector and fields. Ideally will have worked for Dstl, or DE&S, Abbey Wood, Portsdown, MOD Centre and or/FDLCs. Need to be good with people and able to interface directly with customers. Has to have the positive, flexible and self-motivated attitude necessary for a small company. No objection to working on defence projects. The successful candidate will be selected on technical competence, communication skills and the flexibility necessary to work for a small company.
