Our Client is looking for a Senior Design Engineer keen to work on smaller projects. They recognise that successful delivery of smaller projects requires a specialist talent set incorporating: commercial awareness, written and oral communication, hand drawing ability, traditional building knowledge as well as structural analysis in all materials. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently but under supervision from other members of the small works team and with support from the CAD pool when required. Their small works group has been working independently from the major works team for the last eight years, delivering projects with a build cost of £50K to £2M. The significant contribution to the overall success of the office is highly valued. Their teams work with large local building surveying groups on high-end residential new builds, conversions and extensions, together with church redevelopment projects with specialist architects. Qualification to MEng Civil Engineering would be valued but not essential. The remuneration package will reflect the experience of the successful candidate.
