Programme Manager is required on a permanent basis for a leading engineering company based in the Bedfordshire area (commutable from the likes of Bedford, Milton Keynes, Ampthill, Luton, etc). As the Programme Manager you will head-up and manage a portfolio of complex bids and projects in a multi-project environment. This includes leading the bid teams, managing customers, and managing project managers in the delivery of projects. To be considered for the Programme Manager role you will need to be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. This should be backed by professional working experience at a Programme Management level for complex engineering projects and be fully conversant with MS Project. Any formal PM qualifications (e.g. Prince 2 or PMP) would be a distinct advantage. Please note, Security Clearance will need to be obtained due to the sensitivity with some projects.
