A global market leading manufacturer with multiple site in the UK require an Asset Engineering Manager to be based at their site near Bristol. The main purpose of the role will be to implement key engineering programs to identify and manage the risk to the manufacturing process of these leading products. The successful candidate will be the key focal point for this, in a stand alone position making sure the maximise production is carried out and eliminating down time. This would be created through loss elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management. Duties include: Own asset reliability and availability in line with the site maintenance strategy to develop optimum plant performance Defines the maintenance requirements of an asset in line with both corporate and site wide approaches Ensure all activities/staff under their control comply with GMP and HSE standards Responsible for maintenance excellence processes, ensuring that processes are fit for purpose and applied consistency across business units as appropriate Develop and sustain a continuous improvement programme with the aim of determining root causes and putting in place long term solutions to reduce plan failures Skills/Experience Required: Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering 5 years plus experience in a similar role Knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance, Total Predictive Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, Risk Based Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Overall Asset Effectiveness Background within FMCG/chemicals or pharmaceutical industry Knowledge of statutory compliance This is an excellent opportunity to join a global market leading organisation.
