WE ARE LOOKING FOR A UNIT MANAGER/HOUSE MANAGER Equivalent to Band 7 - £36,000 per annum, £1,000 welcome bonus and excellent Benefits About the role The Unit Manager/House Manager will leading your team, you will be in charge of all day-to-day care activity in your designated unit or floor within the home, including maintaining accurate records for each of our residents whilst consistently delivering the very highest care standards The Unit Manager/House Manager will take responsibility for assessing the physical, mental and social needs of our residents, whilst at the same time building excellent personal relationships with both them and their families Creating and developing strong links with local professional bodies, you will play an important role in raising the care home’s profile within the community It is likely that, from time to time, you will be expected to provide cover outside of normal hours. About the home It is a modern, 150 bedded, purpose-built home, situated in a quiet residential area of Basildon. The home has recently been fully refurbished resulting in a high quality, attractively decorated home with a layout specifically tailored to our residents’ needs. The home provides individual care for residential, nursing, convalescence, palliative care, and respite. The home also specialises in both residential and nursing dementia care and is able to provide care for young physically disabled residents, as well as specialist care for people with Parkinson’s disease.
