Job Description:

The primary purpose of the Assembler role will be to assemble, test, calibrate and inspect sub-assemblies to meet required quality and output standards. The Assemblers key responsibilities include:- • Assembly, test and inspection of small precision components and electro/mechanical assemblies to relevant product drawings and build specifications. • Manufacture, test and inspection of wound moving coil. • Manufacturing , test and inspection of wound resistors. • Soldering of fine wire and electronic components. • Ensuring tooling and equipment used has been inspected, tested and calibrated in accordance with quality and health and safety requirements. The successful Assembler will have :- • Experience of working in a small/medium batch size electro-mechanical or electronics assembly environment. • Ability to hand solder to component level. • The Assembler will have an eye for detail. • Experience of basic electronic and mechanical test and measuring equipment i.e. multi-meter, vernier, caliper • Experience in resistance welding, hand-brazing, encapsulation and coil winding would be an advantage although not essential. • Have strong communication and inter-personal skills
