Job Description:

Our client is a substantial subsidiary to one of the worlds largest commodity trading businesses with significant interests in Food Storage, Distribution and Engineering. With good net profitability and a well formulated strategy for growth, the subsidiary has the need to add impetus to assist the Group HR Manager in the delivery of a world class HR function. Reporting to the Group HR Manager and supporting operations across several sites, you will be the lead in employee relations, safety, training, reward and talent management. The role itself is hands on and requires someone who has a number of years of experience in a senior HR position previously, who is creditable, pragmatic, resilient with good judgement, who can carefully balance this with a strong sense of empathy and understanding when it comes to employee relations. The position is on a part time basis and will incorporate 16 hours a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, however there is flexibility in the hours worked. There will be the need to travel to several regional sites and in which case a pool car will be provided to assist you if need be. Certainty a graduate, you will be IPD qualified and demonstrate a passion for operational excellence and have experience working within a fast paced environment i.e. Food Production, Engineering, Logistics, Manufacturing or Automotive. You will also be IT literate as well as having good numeracy and literacy skills
