Senior Geotechnical Engineer & Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer Office: North East Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology, second degree preferred. Member of appropriate professional body, Chartered Engineer preferred or Chartered Geologist. Job Description: * To provide geotechnical support, reclamation and remediation of development land. * To carry out geotechnical design as required. Common requirements will be to undertake slope stability assessments, foundation design (all forms), earthworks design, reinforced earth design, highways advice, ground stabilization design. * Tender preparation. * Client management and project management. * Management of junior staff. * Undertake review of technical reports prior to issue with clients. * Liaison with regulators. * A working knowledge of contaminated land legislation and NHBC guidelines would be a distinct advantage.
