Our client is the UK’s leading feline welfare charity. They now help around 205,000 cats and kittens through their network of over 250 volunteer-run branches and 31 adoption centres and homing centres. They are now looking to appoint a Cat Care Assistant to join them at their Eastbourne Adoption Centre. Caring for the overall needs and welfare of our cats, you will be responsible for cleaning the sleeping quarters, feeding, grooming, socialising and taking care of their individual needs. In addition to this, you will also be required to answer queries from the general public, within the adoption centre, when completing home visits and at outreach events. Educated to GCSE Level (or equivalent) in Maths and English, the successful candidate will have a proven ability to multi task and work well on own initiative. With a positive attitude and excellent organisational skills, you will be sympathetic to cats and hold a full manual driving licence. Experience of animal care is highly desirable however this is not essential.
