Ace Appointments have a new opportunity for an Arborist. Commencing immediately Monday to Friday working full time hours. Objectives: To undertake practical arboricultural work. To ensure tree maintenance work is carried out to specified standards. To ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH and other appropriate regulations. To ensure arboricultural duties are carried out efficiently and effectively. To ensure that the Council’s standards of customer service are achieved. Essentials: NPTC qualified or equivalent level of knowledge. Certificate in pesticide application (desirable). Experience of practical tree work operations including aerial work and the use of specialist equipment and machinery. Must be able to recognize discrimination in its many forms and willing to put the Council's Equality Policies into practice. Ability to work at heights. Organised approach to work. Responsive and courteous to members of the public. Subject to call out rota duties resulting in some unsocial hours working.
