Financial Controller - Fleet Based: West Yorkshire Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE! + Bonus! My client are a market leading fleet management solutions company who have been labelled as one of the fastest growing companies outside of London by the Sunday Times! The Works are assisting this ever growing company in their immediate search for a Financial Controller. The main responsibility of the role is to manage a growing team, producing timely and accurate management accounts, developing KPI`s and budgeting. Reporting in to the company directors, the successful candidate will also be responsible for providing crucial information that will be key in driving company growth. Other responsibilities include; - Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Group`s accounting records and financial systems. - Responsibility for all journals and final GL balances including review of month end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts. - Overseeing monthly processing of payroll, payments to contractors, supplier payments, AR and Credit Control. - Ensure returns for Corporation tax, VAT and all other relevant compliance requirements are submitted. - Preparation of budget and forecasts. - Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for Directors and Senior Management team. In order to be successful in the role, the ideal candidate will have experience managing a team and must be a strong communicator. Other requirements include; - Senior level stakeholder engagement. - First class finance and accountancy experience. - Previous experience within a high growth company. - Demonstrable experience in adding significant value including performance improvement, operational and strategic reviews, market analysis and finance function transformation.
