Job Description:

Our sector leading client is experiencing continued growth. As new has been created for a Purchasing & Customer Service Manager to support their Procurement and Supply Chain functions.

The Manager oversees the processing of all transactions associated with the purchasing of supplies/services, equipment, and office products required to support the Supply Chain Service Centre and participating facilities. He/she is also responsible for developing and implementing performance metrics targeted at measuring customer satisfaction, effective problem resolution, abandonment rate and on hold times. The Manager also supervises the day-to-day activities of all Purchasing and Customer Service employees as well as department supervisors.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:

  • Experience of managing within a Purchasing/expediting function
  • Customer Management/Service experience is essential
  • Excellent communication, leadership and problem solving within a B2B customer facing environment
  • Tactical execution - the role oversees the development, deployment and direction of complex programs and processes
  • Financial management - experience of applying tools and processes to successfully manage to budget
  • Project management - assesses work activities and allocates resources appropriately
